Talking about Privacy, PWAs, Protecting People ... and Pianos with Vivaldi Browser on their podcast.

Hello Everyone,

I'm excited to share that I recently had the pleasure and honor of sitting down for a podcast episode with the Technical Communications Officer of the Vivaldi Browser, Bruce Lawson.

As many of you may know, Vivaldi is a privacy-focused web browser that shares many of our values here at Cryptee, and our favorite browser to work with here at Cryptee. So this was a particularly fun and exciting conversation for me. Here's the youtube video of the podcast :

And here is the Spotify audio-only version if you wish to listen to it :

and here it is on Vivaldi's blog.

During our conversation, we delved into several topics that are close to our hearts:

Privacy and Security — We discussed the importance of digital privacy in today's interconnected world and how both Cryptee and Vivaldi are working to protect users' data.

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), Big Tech & the EU — We talked about PWAs and our mutual love for them, as well as Big Tech, European Union and how Big Fruit Co. and their grip on tech affects small companies like us.

The Unexpected — Perhaps many of you do not know, I am also a classical composer. So you can imagine how thrilled I was to geek out about classical music on the podcast of a company named after the great classical composer Vivaldi! Talk about a perfect harmony of tech and music!

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Bruce for hosting me and for the engaging discussion, as well as Jon von Tetzchner for making our favorite browser, Vivaldi. Their commitment to privacy and user empowerment aligns closely with our mission at Cryptee. So thank you all for making this happen — and thanks Bendik for the wonderful interview video!

As always, we're grateful for your support and trust in Cryptee. Stay tuned for more updates and insights as we continue our journey to make privacy accessible to everyone.

All the very best from Northern Europe,

— John Ozbay
