Cryptee, EDRi, F-Droid, Free Software Foundation Europe, and others sent a joint submission to European Commission on Apple's DMA non-compliance

Following up on the conversations and questions at the European Commission's DMA hearings for Apple Inc., together with EDRi (European Digital Rights), F-Droid, Free Software Foundation Europe and other undersigned civil society organizations, today we have submitted additional information to the European Commission for their consideration.

We hope that our joint submission will contribute to European Commission's ongoing non-compliance investigations of Apple, including the one newly announced at the ECN DMA Conference this week, which we attended.

We would like to thank the European Commission's DMA enforcement team for all their hard work, and we would like to state that we're particularly encouraged by Vice President, European Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager's remarks during the ECN DMA conference that there are "no reservations about proceeding to structural remedies."

You can find our published joint submission on EDRi's website or read/download it below.
